Bradford CAMRA Pub of Year Overall Winner 2024

Bradford CAMRA Pub of Year Overall Winner for 2024 is the Corn Dolly.

Good weather was ordered so that Anthony could show off his legs. Dolly pub guru Neil and branch Chair Kerr could not be persuaded to do likewise. Probably a good job – nobody wanted Bolton Road to be brought to a standstill.

So it’s the Corn Dolly – and not for the first time. Neil, and his father Peter before him have been central to holding the award over many years before Anthony took over.

Does this award make the Corn Dolly the best pub in Bradford branch area? Well, on paper – Yes. That’s what the judges made it, and they work on national CAMRA criteria, which takes into account much more than the quality of the beer.

There are many rivals, and their turn might well come. Indeed, let us hope it does and that the Quality of pubs in this city is maintained at a high level. And even improved upon.

But for now: all hail the Dolly.
