CAMRA’s LocAle initiative promotes pubs stocking locally brewed real ale in order to reduce the number of ‘beer miles’ from brewery to pub cellar in response to growing consumer demand for quality local produce.

CAMRA in Bradford began when the West Yorkshire branch was founded with an enormous meeting at the Black Swan in Thornton Road. So many people came you could hardly get in, and it is not an exaggeration to describe it as chaos!
