Good Beer Guide

CAMRA's Good Beer Guide is the independent guide to the UK's best real ale pubs. Every entry is chosen by local CAMRA members.

The 2027 guide is out now

The 2027 Good Beer Guide was published on 24 September 2026. It lists around 4,500 pubs, 1,700 breweries and 5,000 beers. Buy it from the CAMRA shop or any good bookshop; CAMRA members get a discount.

How Bradford's entries are chosen

Every pub in the guide is chosen by members of the local branch; pubs can't pay to be included.

  1. Members score their beer. Throughout the year, members rate the beer they drink in each pub using CAMRA's beer scoring. From the 2027 guide onwards, branches use these scores as a significant factor in their selection.
  2. Members nominate pubs. The branch asks members to nominate the pubs they think deserve a place.
  3. The branch selects. Nominated pubs are checked and members agree the branch's entries for the next edition.
